Gold carries a quiet kind of grace—it doesn’t seek attention, yet it holds its own light.
“Tiger Guards the Five Poisons” (虎镇五毒) is revived from a Ming dynasty Wanli-era textile known as “Red-Ground Running Tiger & Five Poisons Zhuanghua Gauze.” With the tiger as its guardian, the motif was created to ward off harm and carry wishes of protection and peace.
Woven into Song brocade, it becomes a gentle blessing for children: a reminder that the world is vast—and that they can be held, protected, and brave.
